Zagora had been chasing Cybo across Talus for hours. Every time he got to the waypoint that the seeker droid marked in his datapad, Cybo wasn't there. As the sun was setting Zagora finally found traces of her in the area. Knowing Cybo was a very dangerous woman he put on his best armor and secured his equipment.
Zagora pinpointed Cybo just as the sun slipped under the horizon. This is the point of the hunt where Zagora feels any trace of emotion. His brain dumps a load of endorphins into his blood and he quickly enhances it with high quality spice. A keen sense of danger is the only emotion he's felt for a long time. He silently slips into the prone position and low crawls within weapons range of Cybo. He sticks his head through the underbrush just enough to look her over. Hmmm resistant to energy and heat it seems. Might as well give knock down a try anyway he thinks.
Zagora rests the carbine on his hand and sights in on Cybo's chest, his finger applying slight pressure. His mind opens to the environment, taking in anything that might give him away before he's ready. All his concentration is on his target.
Suddenly an electric jolt shoots down his left leg startling him so bad he jumps up and grabs his thigh wondering WTH!!
Before he realizes it Cybo has halved the distance between them and is coming in fast. And she's not happy.
The jolt has subsided and just as he fires his carbine he realizes it was his communicator that was activated by an incoming message and started vibrating.
Knockdown doesn't work on Cybo, as usual, so he switches to his LLC since she is so close and lets loose a stream of electricity which surprises her and slows her down a little bit.
Knowing how dangerous she would be if she got close enough he begins to run. After a long battle and many, many health stims he sees her finally fall to the ground, muscles spasming finally giving in to the tremendous jolts of electricity.
After she is down he takes a deep breath and starts digging through his pocket to find the cause of his near death experience. It's been years since his communicator has received any data. Of course it's in top working condition as is all his equipment, fresh power cells are replaced every month whether they need it or not. He learned very early in his career that if Spynet HQ sends a transmission, you had better receive it. As he reads the message his eyebrow peeks.

Zagora grits his teeth. Zorin know's I hate to be called that. He just does it to piss me off. And he succeeds every time, but you got to love the old timer's transmissions. Even though the new technology makes de-crypting our messages impossible, Zorin still uses short transmissions.
Zagora is curious about the recall to hq. He's only known of two others being recalled, both were never seen again. A few shuttle hops later Zagora's speeder coasts to a stop a few blocks from Spynet HQ. Anyone seeing him would not know he was a few blocks from hq, they'd just think he was headed into the cantina for some refreshment. He slips through the streets and knocks at a nondescript door. It opens and the doorman holds a green glowing datapad out to him. Zagora places his hand on the datapad and watches as his imprint is scanned. A light on the scanner turns green and the doorman opens the inner door.
Zagora steps through the door, fully expecting his body to be vaporized. With Spynet there are no trials, no hearing of the other side. If there's strong enough evidence against you, you won't know what hit you. Instead of searing pain he finds Zorin sitting at a desk. Papers piled high on either side which look like wanted posters and equipment ordering forms. Zorin glances up and smiles.
Zagora peeks his eyebrow, he's never seen Zorin smile. Never even heard of him smiling. "'gora, we have a mission for you. We didn't put it on the terminals because this is a special mission.", Zorin says. "The meeting location was uploaded to your datapad when you walked into the room. I don't know how but you were suggested for this mission. You will be working for your contact as long as necessary. Bye now."
"That can't be the same Zorin", Zagora thinks as he leaves hq. "The only thing that would make him happy was a big deposit of credits to his account. This should be interesting"
As Zagora strolls to the starport he checks his datapad. Revena. Hmmm sounds like a nice town. Contact's name is Zag. Hmmm I like him already.
Zagora enters the cantina on Revena ready to meet his new employer. It's not often that someone from Spynet is able to work for a private citizen. Being a few minutes early, as he always is, Zagora takes a seat where he can see both entrances and waits for the meeting.
A person enters the building, the bartender's greeting is shouted for the hundredth time and Zagora has to look hard to determine if it's a man or a woman. Without hesitation the person strides over to Zagora and offers it's hand. "You must be Zagora. I'm Zag", he says. Zagora stands and shakes his hand asking, "How do you know who I am?"
"You are the only one here that I have not meet and this is the time you are supposed to be here." Zag says.
He is logical Zagora thinks to himself, that's a good sign.
"It's very good to meet you." Zagora says.
Both men are silently and quickly inspecting the other.
"Spynet says you are the best they have. I'm very happy you agreed to meet me." Zag says.
Zagora peeks his eyebrow. I'm the best they have?? He thinks to himself. "I appreciate the compliment, but I'm far from the best. I hope I will be acceptable though."
"Well let me tell you what I have in mind. I may need to disassociate myself from someone that is close to me. I have some suspicions, but I need them confirmed or denied. Can you do that?"
As Zagora pretends to ponder the mission, knowing he has no choice but to accept, the annoying greeting pierces the silence yet again. Two people enter the cantina, but Zagora only notices one. A raven haired woman. Zagora has never seen such beauty, he can't take his eyes off of her. Friendly greetings are exchanged between the woman, the person who entered with her and Zag. Zagora realizes the room has gone silent and feels Zag touch his shoulder. "Zagora? This is Narah and Zilda, two close friends of mine."
Zagora quickly greets Zilda, hardly seeing her.
"Nice to meet you Zagora", Narah says.
"H Hi, It's, umm, nice to, um, meet you as well", Zagora fumbles over his words and is surprised at his reaction. He know's he's been in the field, away from civilized people for a long time. "But come on, pull yourself together man", he thinks to himself, looking around hoping no one noticed his reaction.
Narah hands two young babies to Zag asking him to take them someplace safe. "Follow me Zagora while I find a place for these children." As they walk across the street Zag says, "Sorry we were interrupted. Will you take the job?"
"Of course I will", Zagora says.
Zag tells him the name of the person he needs tracked. "I'll let you know what to look for in the days ahead, but right now someone is in need of our help."
Thoughts swirl through Zagora's head as he prepares his speeder for the trip. He takes a deep breath, mounts his bike and thinks, "What have I got myself into this time..."
